About the Authors

Dana L. Meador
Dana L. Meador is a Certified Public Accountant licensed by the State of Texas with over 27 years of experience in the fields of accounting, taxation, and business management. Ms. Meador holds a BBA in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin (’81) and a Masters of Law in Taxation from the University of Denver Law School (’84). She spent several years working for Deloitte and Touche (audit) and Arthur Young and Company (tax) before forming her own practice in 1988. For the past 20 years, Ms. Meador has worked exclusively as a consultant in the insular world of ultra-high net worth individuals and their partnerships, trusts, and corporations (which have ranged from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies in a variety of industries such as equity investment, real estate, restaurant, retail, banking, oil and gas, and online services). Over the years her personal client roster has included such business luminaries as real-estate developers Trammell S. Crow and Vernon S. Smith, banking billionaire Gerald J. Ford, and Fortune 500 Freeport McMoRan co-founder B. M. “Mack” Rankin, Jr. Dana is available for speaking engagements to share her work, opinions on the economy, and experiences in corporate America.

Sean C. Meador
Sean C. Meador is a graduate student at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California. He is currently working towards his Masters in Computer Science with an focus in real-world computing. He is also the founding memeber and CTO of App Aces, a mobile app startup based in the Bay Area.
